The Ballet Etudes Company returns to the Playhouse with a new production of the enchanted fairy tale ballet, Sleeping Beauty. This production will feature principal dancers from the American Ballet Theatre plus a cast of 60 local dancers. Set to Tchaikovsky's magnificent score, this timeless ballet is staged by Christina Fagundes, after Petipa's original choreography. Opulent costumes from the former collection of American Ballet Theatre are complimented by elaborate set pieces and scenery, contributing to the magic of this delightful ballet. This 90-minute adaptaion is "family friendly", for ages 5 and up.
